I suppose if you are here it’s s because you’re wondering who the heck I am and how I know so much about the Dominican Republic…

When I was about 5 years old my parents took our family on a vacation not knowing how one trip would flip our lives upside down. After a couple years of vacationing my parents decide to build a home and for the majority of my life I have called Bavaro a home away from home that eventually turned into something much more.

From a tree farm my dad built with his bare hands, to adventures at Coastal Carolina University; studying abroad in Argentina and Spain, and more trips to different cities than I can count on my fingers and toes, I always seem to find myself gravitating back to Punta Cana and missing my life here.

Being around for so long I have seen the Dominican grow and with that I have been lucky enough to take adventures off the beaten path, make friends from all over the world and know where is good to eat on what day. My friends always asking for advice, I decide why not make a blog.

I hope my entries find you well. Whether it is your first time traveling abroad, you’re just curious what the heck I am up to these days, or you’ve decided to move to this island.
